Quite frankly, the dude in video even admits he ain't got a clue about how raids will be in Destiny.
To those who use some MMO's raids as the base of their argument against MM in Destiny's raids are just guessing.

And you are just guessing that they won't be. Look at the first raid boss he shows, even if they are half that complicated, its insanely complicated. The second, gruul, which is relatively simple is what I am guessing most bosses will be like. Wipes will still happen. As i said more then once, all raiders want is for people to respect the difficulty a raid comes with. Maybe they will be easy and if they are its a simple thing to put matchmaking in later. After we know its not going to effect things

I admit I don't know everything. That's why I'm not claiming solution X works or doesn't work. Also, matchmaking is not the solution in my opinion. Better social aspects are (communication, group finding features etc. because in MMOs, where the other raids are, you can set up easier through the use of all the chat channels)

What about a stone. I remember this from old WoW. There was a way stone next to the dungeon entrance. Interacting with said stone would put you into a Que for the dungeon. Since the raids would be in relatively high level areas you would have to fight your way to the raid in order to join the MM for said raid.

Can we wait and see how the game actually works before we start suggesting ways to make it more like other games? #FFS

One of the reasons I don't want MM right there! Plus I like to have plans for the future
