You'd have a legitimate argument IF clan functionality was in the game even more of one IF there existed a general chat in game. Add at least those and suddenly what your saying makes sense in context of the game. If the solution isn't in the game itself then it's not a solution at all.

Please see toastybearcubs post below regarding clans. Also people will be more actively pursuing making fireteams to have an active friends list once that content is reached IF matchmaking for raids isn't introduced. I'd just rather be forced to make friends with good players than be a part of a system where trolling runs rampant.

My problem isn't joining a clan. It's that I am forced to use the forums to do it. It isn't in the game. To create a clan you must go on bungie.net, to manage a clan you must go on bungie.net. that's a little ridiculous and once again the solution is on the forums not in the game. Your clan won't even show up in game until you have 3 recruits.

I guess I'm more for establishing steady groups vs attempting the hardest content on a whim, but to each its own. I would just like to see the game be successful without nerfing content for random groups sake.

Trust me I'd be pissed if they nerfed it lol. Nerfing is the last thing I want. They've just setup a social game and included no social interaction outside of fire teams. Well in the game itself. If they insist on forum use only as the main com. it should be integrated directly into the game. Not through the app or Web based.

I agree with that point 100% I think that there will be better clan integration come 9/9

"That is simply a fact of the game. To access clan features, you'll need website access. I'm not a designer, I just work on the web team. " Lol I asked. That's the tragic answer I got.

Rofl that's a terrible answer
