GOTY? (Old post)
Which Game do you think will make GOTY and Why? (Obviously Destiny ahahaa - because, well.... You know...)
Edit: so some of you mentioned that I forgot a few titles. I am sorry for this, I was just thinking of the top of my head, so if you have a game that should be there, comment. There's a new post on this that has been updated from the replies.

As my own personal GOTY (which often but not always differ from the public choice) is Destiny, the world has pulled me in and given me a hunger to explore, and its gameplay has so far been a blast.

There are a lot of good games coming out this year, but with what I've seen of Destiny I for sure think its got the best chance at GOTY.

TLoU deserves GotY 2 years in a row because it's just that awesome <3 hehe. But no it won't win because TLoU remastered is just a graphical update. I voted for TLoU here, but I loved the Destiny beta. That's why I'm here, lol. I think it could get multiple GotY awards judging from what we've played.

2 RepliesCoD won't win, Last of Us has about as much chance as the Halo MCC, Battlefield is delayed to next year (EA finally realized that it can't release bugged games), and I don't think a game like the Crew can win anymore. Also, I think your missing Dark Souls (better chance than Watch Dogs) and Assassins Creed (when done right, it's hard to beat a game like ACII).

Right now its Destiny i think. . . even i dont really play it all. . . but a Remake not even a remake just an better Texture version of an older game as an GOTY would be quite dumb. . . CoD. . . i dont know which vote for this shit but we all hope that the Gaming Community never get that low and alow CoD to get GOTY. . . NEVER... Watchdogs has a little little chance i quess but wasnt that great i heard. The Crew is a F2P Racing game right ? Dragon Age has a bigger chance i quess but i think Destinys chance is bigger or eqiual.

I don't want TLOU winning, not because I think it's a bad game, but it's not really a 2014 title. I don't see a shooter like Battlefield/CoD getting GOTY, they usually win in best shooter/multiplayer. The Crew looks great and the beta was really fun, but as far as stories go, I don't see this one beating out anything on this list. Watch Dogs was really good, but with Destiny and Dragon Age: Inquisition up there, it won't best either of them. According to this list of GOTY nominees, I say it's between Destiny and Dragon Age: Inquisition. We haven't seen much of either game to determine who could win, but since I don't really like the Dragon Age games, I personally think Destiny would win (from this list anyways).

Eh, as much as I love Battlefield...they had some rough times lately but got better. Hardline has a lot to heal up after 4. In fact Visceral and DICE I believe are very protective of Hardline since they pushed it back after the testings showed a bunch of bugs.

Honestly nothing else is going to touch Destiny. Dragon Age is about the only one worth mentioning as a close 2nd. Hardline was delayed until next year, so that's out but it wouldn't win anyways. Cod, watchdogs and the crew are not even in the running.
