Wait... You are Strider? o.O With the white spartan and the two SMGs for the Avatar? ._______. Ming blown. But I do have to point out, the Exodus isn't an Exodus. It's mostly people who were pissed off at the site having the functionality of a square cube in a circle hole. It's working again now, mostly and people are filtering back. Sure, some have decided they are done with the site and that's inevitable but I would say that the majority of users who 'left' weren't planning to leave forever, and I don't remember any of them saying so. They'll filter back here, just like I did. It was a bunker while this place was a mess lol. A drama filled bunker ._.

  •
Wait... You are Strider? o.O With the white spartan and the two SMGs for the Avatar? ._______. Ming blown.
Ay. That's me. You seem to remember that account well, despite the fact that I rarely post on it. How is this so? Is it because of a particular thread that I posted back around November 2013?
But I do have to point out, the Exodus isn't an Exodus. It's mostly people who were pissed off at the site having the functionality of a square cube in a circle hole. A drama filled bunker ._.
I don't recall calling it an exodus to be honest, but I guess it's possible to get that implication. And I agree, the intention of most at first was just a bunker, but for many evolved into permanent. There were a couple of threads that several offsite members chimed in on that had pictures of the offsite with the b.old layout and made it sound like this was the new permanent home of the Flood, and kept asking us why we still posted here. So naturally, I interpreted that to mean the offsiters were trying to rebuild the old Flood they've all been talking about since b.next struck. Which in turn means they really had no intention of coming back if they could revive the Flood AND be away from everything they hate here (DeeJ, "desticles", the new update, etc.). So that's what led to this rather intentionally embellished story/thread. Basically, this thread boils down to me asking who stayed here to remain here, and we'll still have a good time. All of the offsiters here shitting on it seemed to have missed this point. PS. I'm glad you are back.

I tend to have a very good memory of people I talk to properly <.< And those that I follow as well >.> I was paraphrasing someone else's comment about it, I can't remember where I read it though lol. I have a wonderfully paradoxical sponge memory <.< But yeah, there was quite a bit of making a house a home. I certainly liked the nostalgia of seeing the flood revived and if it hadn't been nuked then it probably would have been a success. The offsite worked brilliantly and Bungle felt like trying to interface with a brick wall, a brick wall with strobing halogen lights. I'm sure people will return here gradually, as I'm doing. Post a little on both for a bit and all that. And thanks :D It's good to be back, even if the site isn't perfect yet.

  • You followed Strider? Damn, I should pay more attention to that account haha. It's just that I feel that we've communicated more on this account than the other...perhaps I'm wrong though. I shy away from my Strider account, because of that one thread. I thought that's how you remembered me, but I guess not. Why are your analogies making me lol? How do you construct such beautifully hilarious ways to convey your ideas? Teach me, oh lord. I must know. But yeah, I know everyone will eventually come back. The offsites usually always die. I've seen many in my time. Which is why I never go. To each their own however. As long as there is activity here, I'm satisfied. I get bored too easily. Drifting in and out of reality, trying to discern what's real and what's not; it keeps me inside my head way too much. This is where I come to escape myself. I'd be sad if no one was here :/

Heh yeah <.< We certainly have, I just didn't realise that this account was you lol. If it was a particularly bad thread, then I don't remember it so it's fairly likely that I either didn't see it or didn't pay it any mind <.< The wonderful thing about being a brit, is that you are born with a sarcasm gland in your brain. It helps when it comes to creating things like that <.< Yanks can occasionally mutate and grow one, but they are rarer than a rude canadian. I've seen one die in my shortish time here, when it went to B.next and all the hashtag crap turned up there was Flood v2 I think, or Newflood or the like. That died pretty quickly iirc and after a month or so I came back here anyway and changed up my account <.< Heh yeah <.< I usually have the opposite problem, there is so much that I'd like to do that I end up sat awake at three in the morning staring at my Desktop trying to figure out what game to play. Lol <.< Although that's more of an insomnia thing than an actual urge to play games all day >.>
