Shores of Time works fine as it is. In my experience pretty much all if the objectives get flip flopped around so it's pretty hard to get spawn camped. They both have quick access to C/A and B at the start.
Blind Watch is an entirely different story.

You must have been pretty lucky... If the other team plays it smart on Shores of Time it's terrible trying to leave 'A' point. You have to fly into the 'B' area and are then exposed off the start or alternatively go through the centre cave and be exposed to people on the ramp.

C ia closer to A than B, that's where I usually go. It's easier to cap, too. I've never been trapped in A. Ever. There are 3 ways to get out. They can't hold you down and keep an effective defence of the other 2 going unless they're all working as a team. In which case it sucks ass because it was somebody's bright idea to turn off team chat because "they might not respect our experience." Never thought Bungie, who made an awesome social experience in Halo 2, would go backwards in that regard.

Edited by Retribution: 7/26/2014 5:43:25 PMThere is a sniper perch at the back of the map that has easy line of sight on 'C' and people coming out of the tunnel. It's easy to lock it down with a coordinated team. One guy snipes covering C, 2-3 guys on B and the other go between depending on which has most resistance. The enemy can never leave 'A' spawn. My suggestions would help eliminate this as if 'B' is in the centre there is not sure-fire way of holding in down it has 4 entrances. Plus people could flanks and put pressure on your teams 'give me' flag.

Where in the center are you talking about?
-
That central tunnel area that leads into the open ramp area or goes into near where the C spawn is.

You'd need to move C like you said in the OP but I'm not sure if this is really a problem. If the other team locks down B and C they have to be working really well as a team. There are 2 ways to get to Bravo from Alpha. There are 2 ways to get to Charlie from Alpha. Either way with C if there's a sniper you'll be in his LOS, but even if you moved Charlie you'd still need to get past this hypothetical sniper anyways. With B some people can attack from the hill and others can go through the cave and flank. It's happened to me before and it's hard to defend. Usually when you only have Alpha tye game tends to spawn you outside the cave near the initial spawn, so unless the other team is deliberatly manipulating the map you should be able to get out.
-
If charlie is moved it wouldn't matter about the sniper as they would only be covering one side path. Bravo would become centralized and full of conflict. The problem with the map now is that B is difficult to get like I have stressed. You are flying towards people behind cover with line of sight of you. Or going through the centre cave and popping out where they can also have line of sight on you. Also if you get on 'B' on the Start as Bravo team your all in an exposed to people coming up the ramp from 'C'.
-
Bravo is always exposed no matter who spawns where. Either they're coming up the hill or flanking through the door, or they're going through the door and flanking with that pedestal behind it. Neither team has an advantage at Bravo unlike Blind Watch. If they can shoot you you can shoot back. If you flank through the cave it can really screw them over.
-
There is a large metal barrier that stretches across the majority of the B point forming a wall that can be used to 'head glitch' on and pick on the poor sods that try to storm up the hill. God forbid you try flying up over while they are there you will die so fast. Also going through the cave you will pop out into one of two doorways. The first is near b which can easily be covered and you will be mowed down. The second leads to 'c' which is still covered by the sniper who has line of sight.
-
Well yeah they should still be hard to capture though. Maybe they could remove the wall blocking Bravo from the hill? But if they did that it wouldn't be very fair since Bravk would have no cover and the enemies coming from Alpha would. If you flank while your teammates are attacking from the front you won't get mowed down unless they're just plainly better than you or have more players there. If they have more players there then the rest are either near Charlie or attacking Alpha. In which case you either keep attacking Bravo or defend A. This is all presuming that there's ALWAYS a sniper overlooking Charlie, which isn't the case. If he is there, then you need to either counter snipe or capture Bravo so that you can flank that -blam!-er.
