The only time I manage to win this map as Bravo Team is by flipping the spawns and putting the other team in the same awful situation.
And there, good sir, is your answer for how to control Venus. And also, switch spawns on Mars as well. Put two guys up in C Window to kill everyone at C, then bring your team over to Cap it, then rush B so you have the continuous spawn at C. This game takes a lot more skill than people think. You have to be ... smart

The "being smart" excuse has to be the biggest cop out on this forum for something being imbalanced. So if you spawn on Alpha team in Blind Watch you have the burden if needing to be "smarter." That isn't good enough. That's like saying you're going give one team more points at the start of a sports match and tell the other they just have to be better. Where does that excuse the initial imbalance?

More points lol. You get like 375 for the first cap. Id barely call that a lead. And if you're better, it shouldn't really matter anyway. Excuse me while I go out smart some kids in Iron Banner.

Being better isn't always good enough on a map like Blind Watch where the other team has easy access to 2 flags and defend them together like its nothing. But go on with your lame excuse of "being smart" instead of promoting thought and listening to legitimate ideas because you can't wrap your head around immediate advantages, and that the only solution is to give the other team the equally shitty disadvantage instead of potentially altering the map so that the only advantage is superior skill.

Playing smart had nothing to do with being at a disadvantage of the start of the match. You shouldn't begin in a terrible position and have to then put the other team in the same terrible position. Shores of time has a lot of potential if they fix the flag placement of 'B' and 'C' like I suggested the flow we be much nicer and create a lot of conflict in the centre of the Map.

plus you can Snipe B easier from A than you can from C.
-
Where? 'B' is elevated plus there is cover they can hide behind. You either have to jump into 'B' while being exposed in the air or go through the centre cave being exposed to snipers in the back. If your talking about 'jet packing' up on those cliffs things near 'A' spawn you are still exposed while trying to snipe the people on 'B' who can hide behind the cover on 'B'.

I agree the spawn points are unfair but it is an asymmetrical map. It really isn't that hard to send 3 guys C and 3 guys B tho. Or if you're that concerned push 2 guys B and 4 C and switch those spawns ASAP. You may not get B but you'll guaranteed get C.

Edited by Retribution: 7/26/2014 4:53:23 PMAlso the map isn't too Asymmetrical if you think about it. There is the 'A' cave, the ruins behind 'C' near the ramp, the centre cave area and two pathways around the sides of the map.
