No, I don't see me self playing it for more then a couple weeks. Bungie has said you will hit max level in a few hours. WTF am I paying for then, because the PvP is a -blam!-ing joke!

In the beta! Level 20 will be a challenge to get to, and even then you are only starting the game when you hit the cap. Get motes of light, upgrade your gear, explore those ever-so-challenging raids. The Vault of Glass... It'll be fun, and much more worth it than Call of Duty or Halo's $60 would ever be.
