Bullet sponge bosses
Alright so I am loving this game a lot. It's been super great up until I got to the Devil Walker....
This boss was sooooo bad. The devil walker didn't move at all, insta killed you with it's shot, and had a MASSIVE amount of health. So basically you spend up to 45 minutes just shooting this thing and trying to avoid its insta kill cannon shots. There is no strategy besides that from what I could see. This was one of the uninteresting things I have ever experienced in a game. And by the time I beat the devil walker and got to sepiks who I discovered was another bullet sponge I just quit.
Other than this, I love the game. But this part of it is just so bad.

1 ReplyI ran a search for "sponge" and am now necro-bumping this thread. Looks like OP didn't like the bullet sponge bosses in The Taken King either. What's surprising is that this post and it's replies were down-voted. Who on B-net would defend the Devil Walker and Sepiks Prime?

Honestly I wished the devil walker moved more, it would be a better challenge.

3 RepliesAs stated, you shoot the legs. You will see it fall to the ground, but while down, the core is exposed on the neck area, so you have to hit it from the side.

I just took one on by myself. Don't worry. Once you get the technique down, they get pretty easy.

Blow off the leg plates and it exposes the core for a few seconds. You can eat it up hitting that core but you have to be ready for it and that keeps you fairly close to it.
