Another user posted a great theory/speculation on Osiris based on the Ancient Egyptian Culture. I would suggest keyword searching Egyptian or something like that for more talk on Osiris (I can't share a link cause I'm on my cell...). Osiris was an Egyptian God of some sort, its an interesting read if you find it.

While we're on the subject of Egyptian god references... I just found this in the Grimoire: "Promote event to SKYSHOCK: OCP: EXTINCTION. Activate VOLUSPA. Activate YUGA. Cauterize public sources to SECURE ISIS and harden for defensive action." It's on a ghost fragment under Enemies>Darkness>Ghost Fragment:Darkness. It's talking about when the Darkness first arrived during the Collapse. Could the three things names (Voluspa, Yuga, and Isis) be other AI's in Destiny??
