Are Seed boosts useless?
Seriously.... 10 minute boost to the glimmer that enemies drop......
GREAT>.. except enemies DONT drop glimmer.. save for elites and the FINAL strike boss... elites drop 25 glimmer... hardly worth wasting a 10 min boost on....
strike... not much better.
either ALL enemies better start dropping glimmer... or this item need to gain a point for its inventory space and 10 minute boost... weather its glimmer boost to chests... increased item drops... higher chance of item rarity... SOMETHING. as for now its not even worth the time it has taken to code it into the game.

Well ether seeds only work on fallen enemies and it does make all enemies of that race drop glimmer. Majors (yellow bars) drop 25 glimmer no matter what, with ether seeds active they will drop 48 glimmer. Black wax works on hive enemies, re supply codes work for cabal, and I think blue polyphage are for vex.

Omg. It makes a HUGE difference. Seriously it does. It's like never ending glimmer for me.

The boosts make ALL enemies of that type drop glimmer... A black wax idol will make ALL hive drop glimmer for 10 minutes and increase the glimmer drop from ultras and majors etc

I love them, I used 2 to net 3000 glimmer not 30 min before iron banner closed and got my band and shader

EG: Ether Seeds: Use these, you want to go SPECIFICALLY after Fallen. My recommendation is the Devi's Lair, plenty of fallen there. Black Wax Idol: These make Hive foes drop Glimmer. I recommend either The Dark Within or The Last Array. With either one of these you will want the max level difficulty since that will probably spawn more high power foes.
