Ten year game? Upgrade hard drive...
So I was looking through some of the interviews for Destiny I saw that this game can well extend up to the life of the new counsel, up to 10 years. Got me thinking that maybe it would be a good idea to get a 1Tb hard drive. Good idea?
Geez, 10 years from now, I wonder what I will be doing then. Ha!

2 RepliesI believe this will be a 10 year franchise more than a 10 year game. Destiny CE is only the beginning. There will probably be a Destiny 2 and 3, Destiny 3: OTSD, and Destiny: Stretch. I'm probably sure everyone will hate Stretch, except for forgers. OT: I'm going to order me a Samsung 840 Evo-Series 1TB Solid State Drive.

There is absolutely no way that the X1 will last 9 years, this generation will be done in 5, easy, maybe less. Technology is just moving too fast for another 9 year gen system, or even 5.

I rarely have more then 4 games at a time installed on my PS4, so when im done with most titles, so far I delete the data and trade the game in, so i'm good.

With cloud saving available I think we might be good splitting game saves and stuff between physical and cloud storage will certainly be an option and in 10 years I wouldn't be surprised if 90% of the game moves to cloud based storage.
