Dead would be an online game that has no population at all or at least a very small percentage of the population playing compared to what used to be playing. The amount of people playing would either be below 100, in the hundreds or the very low thousands. Games that are dead would be Halo 2 Vista, Gears 1, Battlefield 1942 and CoD 2. None of the series you listed are dead. Dying would be the population of an online game that looses players in a very large amount like Halo 4. A very large chunk of the population numbers shortly after launch dropped and it kept on dropping.
