Lmao! Coincidentally, I made this gif for whiny Xbox players. xP
-
I'm an Xbox player but I enjoy this GIF a lot b
-
Omg, before I found the one I shared, I searched for something along the lines of "What does the xbot say" to see if anyone has parodied the fox version. Would simply just have to be like...what does the xbot say!? Waaa Waaa Waaa wa wa wa waaa....or some such. Not to throw all xbox guys under the same category lol.
-
OMG I've heard a lot about "What does the fox say?" but i didn't hear that actual song(?). xP
-
It's fairly idiotic, but I absolutely love it. It's just so damn catchy.
-
I just googled it and it was... hilarious! X'D ... WHAT DOES THE XBOX SAY? ♪ Waa-waaa-waaa-waaa-waaaaahwaaaaah! Waa-waaa-waaa-waaa-waaaaawaaaaa! Waa-waaa-waaa-waaa-waaaaawaaaaa! WHAT THE XBOX SAY? Boohoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-pow! ♫

Edited by Owen: 7/11/2014 6:17:35 AMMicrosoft B1tch slapped Bungie first. Now that they're no longer console exclusive, they're trying to reach out to their new audience. Although I wish there was a way for them to sorta "get revenge" on Microsoft without screwing over their Xbox fans.
-
What are you talking about get a brain before you reply
-
I don't understand. Sony paid Activision for all the "special treatment" we're getting. Activision does have a lot of timed exclusive deals with MS, so I could see why you would feel that way. If I could give up my timed exclusivity, I would. Just so we could go back to talking about the game and not how much of a sellout Activison is.
-
Activision and many developers are giving exclusive things to each console. Ubisoft is giving exclusive stuff to Sony for FC4, and Ubisoft is then supposed to be giving exclusive stuff for The Division to Microsoft just like Microsoft is getting exclusive CoD stuff from Activision. It is a business not a charity. These companies aren't your parent and you're not children. You're a consumer. As much as people blame publishers it is also the development teams who are okay with these things. Maybe not everyone is okay with it, but the ones making the decisions with their publishers and then Sony/Microsoft are happy. Bungie didn't betray anyone, it isn't a single person it is a team of people coming to a decision that is best for their company so everybody can have a job in the morning and feed their actual family, and kids.
-
Yeah, sellout was a very strong word to use. They did drop $500 million on this game. I realize this and understand why a company would choose to take money for timed exclusives. Gotta make a profit and feed the kids. Bungie could have easily signed a publishing contract with Sony at the beginning (which could have done who-knows-what to Bungie's rights to Destiny). But they chose to go multiplatform under Activision where they only had to give them marketing rights while retaining the rights to Destiny. Not to mention the uproar if Destiny was a complete Sony exclusive.
-
Edited by Cereal Killer: 7/11/2014 7:02:26 AMI don't think Bungie would go exclusively to Sony. I only believe that after their fiasco with Microsoft, and realizing they wanted more say so in what they did with their IP. They were already annoyed when ODST had to become a full retail release instead of the expansion DLC it was supposed to be. If ODST came as an expansion that would have been one of best FPS expansions ever in terms of hours of content versus what CoD gives us. ODST was too short of a campaign to be $50 in my opinion, but it was fun because of the light over world exploring of New Mombasa that lead to missions (kind of like exploring in Destiny free roam for missions I suppose). And then having to make Reach which many people were upset about and called Bungie sellouts at the time because it was without Master Chief, and there were armor abilities. The Bungie community on these forums can be particularly harsh. Bungie wants to try something different with their IP? Sellouts copying Call of Duty. It was ridiculous. Bungie is going to release this game, and short of Master Chief Collection having Halo 2, and generation 3 remakes of Pokemon, Destiny will definitely sell tons of copies across editions, digital, and consoles for both sides. I am excited for Destiny, I believe in my hype, and as much as everyone here is crying out business practices, and that Bungie/Activision sold them out half of them or more will be playing Destiny too because they want it, and Bungie delivers fun first person shooters. edit: without*

Think if they went with EA. "Would you like to upgrade the sight on this gun for $2.99?" "You have run out of stamina to fight in the Crucible. Refill now for $0.99." "Travelling to Venus requires our premium currency. Would you like to go to the store to buy some?"
-
Think if it went to Ubisoft. A new game every year beat to death with uPlay accounts required to play MP. At least Bungie accounts are optional.
-
Plus a code to even unlock multiplayer that you only get for free by buying the game new. Isn't it like $10 to buy the code outside of that?
-
Didn't one of the companies stop online codes because of angry protest? I think it was Ubisoft, but I can't remember. Don't forget a season pass, not for great story content, but 2 multiplayer maps, 4 costumes, a 2 hour gameplay story, and 4 more costumes for MP only. Ah, Assassin's Creed you whore I don't care for multiplayer give me more singleplayer. Destiny is different though. It is co-op, but optionally PVP or PVE, and the expansion pass has what look like two missions. Maybe it will include other future content, that'd be nice. It is valued at ~30+ dollars so either those missions give a lot of fun, and loot or something else is coming with it. I am excited. My first Season Pass I'm buying where I feel it will also be worth it in content.
-
I know EA dropped the whole microtransaction in games thing. It's a weird coincidence because it was right around when Xbox was detailing their now dropped DRM policies. And I just checked and Ubisoft did drop the code after Black Flag. When your core game focus seems to be multiplayer, why lock people out? I was so glad they kept reminding me about the multiplayer when I was playing the campaign, too (all in "casual" conversation).
-
The sad part is that they are trying to make AC MP a core aspect to the game when in fact all I care about is the singleplayer. Now Singleplayer co-op looks neat for Unity, and I hope it is a mainstay compared to PvP. I enjoy the lore/conspiracy world of AC, but MP is definitely not for me. Especially when there are outfits/character packs taking up a slot on their season pass. I know a lot of people love it. So, I won't stop them from enjoying it because I am just one individual with no power over them, but I'd like to see more Singleplayer content. I enjoyed Adewale's story in AC4, and I wish it was a tad longer. I'd pay $15-$20 for some content longer than 2-3 hours.
-
It'd be awesome if in Unity, when you pass by a bakery, the game tells you the protaginist never passes up a fresh baguette. And then you get de-synced if you don't eat a baguette. Something akin to AC3 with animal skinning. I just hope they'll at least bring back the old assassin's guild system. I loved it in Brotherhood and Revelations. Sort of downhill in 3. And just seemed kind of more an afterthought in Black Flag. And they need to bring back the hookblade. Combat was so much more fun with that. Now it's just counter and then one shot everyone else because of the counter. They just sort of moved away from everything that made the game fun so they could "innovate". But all of the innovation just moves away from what made AC1 through AC2s so dang fun.
-
That sounds ridiculous, and a bit racist. The hookblade was more of a logical explanation for Ezio still be a great climber in his 50's-60's. I don't think anyone will need it especially with the new parkour system.
-
It's ethnist, actually. But the French do make some of the best breads in the world. I can attest to that. Just thought it was kind of ridiculous they made you skin every animal you killed, whether you wanted to or not (kill them, I mean). I also haven't looked much at Unity. Black Flag become just a chore after a while and I couldn't play it. Did they bring back buildings to climb and leap across? That was something sorely lacking from the past two games.
-
I am pretty sure there will be buildings to climb and leap across since they want more of a parkour feel. I haven't really followed the news though because I don't care for AC games until the next one is announced so I can purchase the current one for $20.
-
I'm with you there. I'll probably borrow it off a friend or my brother. Might as well start speaking our wallets, eh?
-
I don't care about "speaking with our wallets" nonsense. It won't change when the majority casual gamer doesn't care, and they're just video games. I just like saving my money when I already know what to expect from the same cow.
