Honest this is the most God awful stupid thing ever on any website. I now have four account (only two of which I actually want to use) why the hell can't I just unlink my my old account from the original email and link it to my new one.

 • I agree completely. Accidentally created this account because I couldn't sign in with psn account. It makes sense that there would be an option to link an existing account using a new sign in method rather than creating a new account. Still can't sign in to the account that's linked to my psn, so I'm stuck using this one until I can sign in with my psn linked account and delete this one. So yeah, one of the worst designs of any website I have ever been to.
why the hell can't I just unlink my my old account from the original email and link it to my new one
In order to unlink an account, two things need to happen.
1. The authentication that you plan to unlink cannot be the ONLY authentication attached to the bungie.net user profile. -AND- 2. You cannot be signed into the authentication that you wish to unlink.
Therefore, you must create a NEW authentication (I'd recommend a Gmail) and Link it to your current bungie.net profile. After you have done this, you will need to sign into your bungie.net profile through the Gmail Authentication, then you'll be able to unlink the original authentication.
