Sorry. It's been a long time since I've read your story, Zest. I must say, this chapter brought a surprising element of action with it. I was entertained and curious from beginning to end. I think I will take a liking to Aaron quickly. Great chapter. I hope to catch up soon.

Better late than never. I will admit that when I wrote this chapter I was intending for it to have more of an action vibe than the previous few. Thanks. Do you think Pavla will tell Aaron what happened between Nora and Alicia?

Action always helps keep your eyes from peeling away. You did a good job with the combat. I have a feeling Nora will find the team's acceptance before that ever comes to pass. Oh I like the Silent Cartographer reference a lot. The title fits the character perfectly.

Again thanks. Remember that Aaron and Alicia are close,if Pavla leaves out a detail or two he might not like Nora's previous actions. Seeing as you brought it up, I didn't remember the reference until a few days after I posted this and I felt it was too good a fit to fiddle with.

I predict that even if Aaron comes to know about Nora's aggressive actions toward Alicia, at some point or another, Nora will earn his respect and trust. I do like that Aaron is the way he is. He almost seems like a gentle giant, depending on the setting and acquaintances, that is. Other times, he's an efficient killing machine, but it was exciting reading when he was in combat. It definitely gives you idea that he is a very strong individual.
