....WHAT The first Gears of War game was great, both its campaign and multiplayer, what are you talking about?

I enjoyed the game myself, but the hit detection online was bs. I watched my sniper rounds go right through many heads without result. And host advantage was ridiculous.

I agree, host advantage was a big thing back then. I also initiallly didn't like the game because of lobbies where the host could boot you for anything.
