More like sometimes they can be treated. Why waste money on putting them in a hospital?

So again, applying this to cancer patients. Should they be left out to dry? or given Chemotherapy? Doctors don't and shouldn't refuse to treat people on the possibility that they might not get better, this applies to both physical and mental health. Triage is a separate matter, not entirely relevant to this.

Which is why they go into hospitals if they are that dangerous. Or they would if the funding was there.
