She's being scrapped as we speak. Sadly, her construction (mostly the placement of the reactors) didn't allow for her to be decommissioned and easily stripped to "museum condition". So she's going to be razor blades, refrigerators and cars.

Steel is VERY efficiently recycled in the US. The odds are decent that any fridge has at least some warship in it.

But I want a badge of certification. Like a Chrysler symbol on a car, but it needs to be a aircraft carrier
