Dual-wielding diluted the more strategic two-weapon approach of CE, not to mention 'tied together two legs of the Golden Tripod'. Giant moving geometry setpieces often turned level design from outmanoeuvring and outwitting the AI, to plonking enemies into view and making you shoot them from afar. Two problems with Campaign, at least. Can't say much for MP; never really played it. Maybe I'll rectify that in November.
