Looks like we're having more than one raid!!! *Rejoicing intensifies*

Even if there was only one to start, nothing to say more wouldn't be added later.

Would you rather have many in the beginning, or have more added as DLC. I don't know about you, but DLC that should have been included in the initial release annoys me.

Edited by SirTheProper: 6/29/2014 6:34:09 PMKinda tired of the whole, included in the initial release mentality. The way this game specifically is being designed, is for expanding content. I never said DLC either. It might just be a content update you ever think of that? Also every week a game is released it is less likely people are willing to buy DLC. Often times a game will be finished and have months of production and certification processes ahead of it, so why waste money when you could keep those programmers working making more stuff that you wished you had the time to get in there, but had to get the game to certification in order to make the deadline that everyone will rage about if you miss. Sometimes it is a naked money grab, but chances are it is just a developer trying to put more of what they wanted in, but it still costs money to go through certification and for publishing things, so they generally charge for it.... just saying.

Well said on all points. As curious as I am about the expansions/DLC plans for Destiny I love that Bungie isn't talking about it yet beyond the initial *10 year development cycle* talk
-
yup...i think we know
-
They've said "raids" many times
-
Difference between a raid and a strike is...?
-
Raids are bigger and probably more difficult. Strikes are up o 3 players. Raids are up to 6 players
-
They've also said "the raid", and "a raid" multiple times
-
"The raid" was always used to talk about a demonstration raid that has been used. "A raid" implies more than one, as it's "a raid" out of many.
"A raid" implies more than one, as it's "a raid" out of many.
Then why would DeeJ, during an interview, seem to emphasize that Destiny has A Raid. He didn't say "The Raid" at all. He only said "A Raid".

Exactly!
