I don't think there were too many plot holes, if any at all. Finale was a good way to wrap it up.

I see it as a yes and no finale. Jon didn't want to make the show anymore and it was emotional. But it was too depressing. Regarding the plot holes is how did Chief, who at the time was just a torso, climb the cabinet and rig the oven to leak?

You're gonna hate it because he didn't wanna make it anymore after how long? It was time for him to move on. Be happy he gave it his best and didn't leave it dead without an ending, yanno. But Chief did a lot of crazy things, you're really gonna put that behind him? Have an imagination, it's about two action figures and is not meant in any way to be realistic.
