Deej is amazing. If you don't like him, then you can delete your account

I don't think you know Deej like The Flood does.
-
What is the conflict between Deej and the flood? I've only heard people mention it but never explain it.
-
Besides what EL is telling you there's a user that asked him a question about his ban because he felt it was wrongly giving. Instead of answering his question Deej instead increased his ban for something he posted a couple weeks back.
-
Pretty much, a few people were getting severely harrassed (threats of murdering their kids and the like) via private message. The first time they asked Deej for help, he ignored them. The second time they asked for help, Deej muted them. Since Deej refused to help, the members took it to the public for help on #Offtopic. Deej then banned them for making it public, then blamed them for being open with the community. Ergo, Deej successfully neglected to do his job as community manager, victim blamed some of the best members on bungie.net, then banned them.
-
Also who were the members that were banned. I'm sure they have alts right?
-
MyNameIsCharlie was the main one. He just left afterwards because of how backwards Bungie handled it.
-
And there has been no backlash from Bungie? What about the community overall how have they reacted?
-
Bungie doesn't necassarily care about us (especially #Offtopic), so Deej didn't get reprimanded and gets to comtinue being a royal douche. And no one knows it happened outside of #Offtopic. They just think our hate for Deej is "trolling."
-
Does he ever show up on #Offtopic anymore?
-
I've seen some of his responses in the mail sacks. He can defiantly be condescending to those who ask questions. He seems to be like Josh Kealey the "Game Journalist" most gamers hate him and his paid off, BS reviews. There's also video of him harassing junior press members and insulting gamers with "stupid" questions.

Edited by The64thMarine: 6/26/2014 9:46:20 PMHe's said some pretty nasty things to some people. (Or at least I think they were nasty, fanboys are welcome to disagree.) Also once in the mail sack someone asked him for his opinion as he wanted to look cool as a hunter but also wanted to be a warlock and Deej essentially told to him to leave him and his warlocks alone (in a slightly ruder way) if he cared about looks. I don't know him in real life so I can't say I dislike him but I simply disagree with some of the things he has said to members of the community. You may say that the community isn't perfect either, but the difference is he's the community manager of one of the best communities out there. This is just my opinion on things he has said, though.
-
I remember some of his mail sack replies being less than professional. He seems like that kid that tries to look cool by insulting everyone.
-
Yeah, you've explained it quite well, except sometimes that rude humour doesn't even seem funny in the slightest, just insulting and mean.
-
Edited by MacKinder: 6/27/2014 4:41:36 PMIt never is with people like that. They think its funny and they project that sence of humor onto others. "If I think its funny then you must as well." It really is like a 5th grader bully's logic.

I know right.
