Fallout 3 or New Vegas
I've never played Fallout. Which do you recommend? Will give sexual favors to best answer.

I could never play Fallout 3 because my friend's copy wouldn't work on my 360. Then I saw New Vegas on sale on Steam. Bought it and that's all the Fallout I need for now.

There will be some recognizable sort of easter eggs that you will understand if you play fallout 3 first then new vegas. Plus nobody likes to down grade in graphics and game mechanics.

Fallout 3 feels more like a wasteland, but Vegas succeeds everywhere else.

Fallout 3 in my opinion is better but new vegas isn't bad at all, honestly I like 3 better mainly because of the fact it has a better story but as someone said below the gameplay in new vegas is better, also I think the dlcs are better as well. The only real good fallout 3 dlc was the hillbilly one! But I still recommend both, especially now with steam sales can get both with all the dlcs for like $25 GL And have fun!

New Vegas is objectively better in nearly every way.

Nv has better game play but 3 has a better setting. Get both on PC and get the mod that allows you to visit both lands.

I'm sorry to say, but if you haven't played fallout 3 then you haven't lived. It's funny how I just went back today and started a new character. Fallout 3 is a million times better than new Vegas and fallout 3 has a ton of replay value whereas new Vegas doesn't(in my opinion). Fallout 3 is one of my top 5 games. I would strongly recommend it to anyone.

You have to play both of them and all the DLC. Play all of 3 and then all of NV. Fallout 3 is a great game but it can be hard to go bqck to after playing new vegas (imo).

I prefer Fallout 3 only because it actually feels depressing like it should. Dark, dreary, and no hope. But new vegas is like Yaaay, hookers!

I Recomend new vegas, specially if you are planning on playing the dlc. Old world blues is the best of the bunch.
