Microsoft gave a really good showing but, come on, Nintendo putting on that Smash Bros tournament was pretty great.

I love Super Smash Bros. and I fully intend to buy it and play it much more than is healthy for me, but you can't honestly believe that the tournament got viewers as excited as the Master Chief Collection.

Maybe, maybe not, but that was the absolute best way they could built hype for that game, live gameplay in front of a very excited audience who have a lot of enthusiasm for the franchise. That was definitely the more fun than press conferences.
