Do the textures seem lackluster when compared to, oh, say Reach? To me, they do in the new trailer.

Not really since Destiny is a whole different art style. The lighting engine is also top notch which makes this game gorgeous. I'm sure the full game will be even better, textures and all.

Hopefully it's just because it's an alpha game currently.
