This is Uncharted. TLoU is -blam!-ed up and depressing. Uncharted is a T rated series where just as the bad guys are about to win... DRAKE SAVES THE DAY! Having Drake or Elena die would be way out of tone for the series.

Uncharted sells to much to mess around like that. Especially since this will be a PS4 mover. There's a big established fanbase which Sony isn't going to allow too much change to be presented to. We could say they could make TLoU 2 rated T but would they? That means changing a lot about what the fans like. Yeah you can say I may be wrong but I'm not seeing it. This will be more Uncharted with insane visuals and set pieces because that sells gangbusters.

TLOU sold more copies in a month or so than Uncharted 2 did in around a year. Rumors say Uncharted will have a darker tone. You can tell, the trailer makes it seem that way.
