I loved that movie, the ending was happy of course. SPOILER ALERT:I'm sure Tom Cruise let Emily Blunt know everything that happened and then they road off into the sunset. He had to be f'd up mentally after seeing her die so many times.

[spoiler]When the Omega died, Cruise got the power back because its blood seeped into him as he was drowning (after he set off the grenades). Basically, they won before they even invaded.[/spoiler]
