Yup this was taken from Falcon 4.0 BMS 4.32, it is a F-16C Block 52 simulator. If you are just getting into flight sims I recommend downloading DCS World it is free and also available on Steam. DCS has a great community of people that would love to help and you can ask me any questions you have. DCS World comes with an SU-25T Frog Foot ground attack aircraft and you can use the editor to make any kind of scenario you would want very easily.

The SU-25T isn't a "Study sim" most major systems are started with two button presses, that is why DCS world is a great start for new flight simmers. The game itself is free, the aircraft isn't full study sim but still has all the complexity in its weapon systems and avionics, and you get the editor which is easy to use and lets you pretty much place any modern military unit in the world and do whatever you want with it. Now if you purchase DCS:A-10C than yeah you are going to be reading for a while, I still can't fly the damn thing, I am too concentrated on the F-16 right now...

  • WHAT?! That's awesome! I'll have to look around for helicopter ones as well, maybe. Since it's a flight simulator I'll assume it gives you a realistic source of practice that could carry over to using it's real world equivalent,or at least make piloting one easier to operate in a first real world attempt?

  • Yes in the full "clickpit sims" like the A-10c theoretically you know how to operate the aircrafts main systems. DCS is actually having its summer sale so if you want to get an aircraft on the cheap I suggest going here: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/ Check around the site and the forums and see if you like it.
