The AWACS probably got confused because of how close this guy got to us, most likely he merged with our radar signal so nobody picked him up until it was too late. Once he had popped up on my Radar Warning Receiver the missile was already in the air unfortunately. I basically jammed her hard right and down to jink it and I only got a round off of countermeasure, alas it wasn't enough, that pilot if he made it probably won himself a refrigerator.

The 23's were bait and he was the trap. The 21 is and old and cheap trap, but it still is an interceptor capable of a decent dash in. NK/Russian pilots would do that back with MIG-15's. An ambush kill is still a kill.

I didn't even think that they could be that clever, I am definitely going to keep my eyes peeled for that trick again next time. As the dynamic campaign progresses in game I am starting to get some really interesting and dangerous strike missions. The next one is going to be a SEAD strike around Pyongyang to pave the way for some B-52's, that should be interesting and I will definitely post about it.
