-blam!-ing dropped.
Between my problems with Dark Souls 2, and the fact that FromSoft said they weren't going to release DLC, because they wanted to deliver a complete experience, during the development of Dark Souls, I am not looking forward to this at all, and it is strongly persuading me against buying future products of theirs.

It's bullshit that From announced three seperated DLC, each released one month after the other, and a Season-Pass - really? - after not even half a year after release. They just lied straight into the faces of the community, because it's pretty much impossible to develop three full DLCs in this small time window - they had to plan all those DLC long before release.
-
Fromsoft retracted their earlier statement about a month before release and said they'd do DLC if the fans asked for it (translation: if they could make money off of it). As for the disappointment that DaS II is and always will be, I have nothing more to say except that Miyazaki wasn't involved with this game.

1) They've been readily moving in patches to fix the "problems" players complain about. 2) There was a LARGE outcry when From said there wouldn't be any DLC. Again, they're pleasing the fanbase, and I'm rather excited.

The problems being addressed are the most popular ones, not the ones that differentiate it from the first, in terms of gameplay of course. I haven't heard anyone asking for DLC.
The problems being addressed are the most popular ones, not the ones that differentiate it from the first, in terms of gameplay of course. As a developer, you work your way down when fixing components in a game. 2) Then you haven't been watching the Souls community at all.

The dark souls community I have regular contact with are all extremely dissatisfied with the game.
-
They released DLC because so many fans asked for it.

For 2 or DS1? Regardless, I feel they need to spend more time polishing the core game's problems versus developing more content.

If you have think the game has problems then you should just git gud.
-
I don't need to git gud, Dark Souls 2 needs to git gud.

I feel like he should of also covered where Dark Souls 2 excels. Combat for instance is so, so much smoother then Dark Souls 1. I can barely deal with Dark Souls 1s combat because of it.

I never had a problem with Dark Souls combat. It always felt really responsive and like the hits had weight.
