Mini-14 is SOOOOO much fun to shoot on the range. .22 is gonna be the cheapest route though. Shooting larger caliber weapons burns a hole in your pocket real quick.

  • I've owned both not much difference other than price/looks so I guess it's preference.

  • Like the quote from Full Metal Jacket "Men, this rifle is most likely the only pussy you'll ever get!"

  • Save for the fact that .22 is really fucking hard to find right now if you live in America.

  • It still is. Till I can go to Walmart and pick up a box of 555 rounds I will say it's still happening. Till the day I can go on Armslist or Gunbroker and not see 500 round packs listed for 60 dollars, I'll say it's still happening. It's still happening.

  • Both my close walmarts are stripped bare. Want .223? .308? 12 gauge? 9mm? .45? Sure, we have a lot of it. .22? Go fuck your self. Look at Midway. Look at their stocks for .22. They have nothing instock and no backorder. You used to be able to buy bucket-o-bullets for 70 bucks. Now, you're lucky to find one of the more exotic .22 loads in stock.
