Metro Redux is more than a re-release!
The Escapist did a preview for this version of Metro 2033 and Last Light. This is not just some spit shine cash grab. They have retooled everything in 2033 and beyond!
I wonder what it will be like playing Last Light like 2033.

I couldn't play the first one on PC (Abysmal FPS, despite being better than the recommended) and I didn't get into the second one because of that when I bought it on the 360. It will be nice to have the complete set to play in good quality :D

Awesome! I remember how shit the optimisation for the first Metro game was on PC so I couldn't play it and had to settle for Last Light on console - one of the best games of last year.

Yeah, I never played 2033. Got Last Light free on PS+ Loved it. I'll buy 2033 standalone on my PS4. This is good. I hope 4A makes another. But I don't just want a sequel. They should expand upon it, add lots of new game mechanics.

2033 was total poo poo with the exception of the librarian part. Better controls and AI would totally convince to me to rebuy it.

That's good. Last Light was so good. One of my favorite games of all time. Tried 2033 and I just couldn't finish it. The mechanics just sucked and drove me nuts.
