Phil has stated that Microsoft's focus will be in refocusing on PC gaming, and the Xbox brand. But that they're making an effort to reinforce/reintroduce their presence into the PC side of things is a very welcome decision. :)

That's how I feel, I just don't see any wrong side to Microsoft incorporating their largest franchises to a larger audience.
