Apparently it's not just LIVE. Playstation versions of the games are affected as well.
At this point, I don't get the whole Uplay thing anymore.

Any third-party launcher that isn't Steam needs to go. There's absolutely no point, and all of its functions (mainly leaderboards and rewards) could be done online or in-game.

It's a damn train wreck right now. Ubi got arrogant in their success with Assassin's Creed. So they backed off on the quality (even more than they already had...). and this is what we get. It's pathetic.
