I just beat Dragonrider in Dark Souls II. He felt incredibly easy after the Pursuer and the Ruin Sentinels.

The dragon rider was never a hard boss. Later on in the game...
you fight two at once, and it's still an incredibly easy fight.
If you know what you're doing anyway.

Yeah, he's very similar to the old knights in that he hits hard, but it's incredibly easy to avoid being hit.
-
Dang you beat the ruin sentinels before him? How'd that happen?

Edited by Warlock 459: 5/29/2014 10:50:03 AMIt took me a while to find the lever in the tunnel that leads to Heide's Tower of Flame

I haven't played it yet, but my friends bought it for me as a graduation present and we're planning on having a week long Dark Souls II play-fest. "It's gonna be biblical"

If you have patience, bravery, and mental toughness, it will be great. If not, stick with it and you'll develop those soon enough. It's a fantastic game, but also heart-wrenching at times.

I've played the first game. How does it compare?

Edited by Warlock 459: 5/27/2014 8:47:05 PMOh, then you know what to expect. I guess that I was preaching to the choir. The online play isn't as good, but the combats more fun and this one might even be a bit tougher.

I blame fatigue.

I agree. After many deaths, my sorcerer, Tim the Enchanter, is finally becoming stronk.

In the first game I decided to go Dex/Faith. It was interesting, that's for sure. Strong? Maybe not so much.
