I just beat Dragonrider in Dark Souls II. He felt incredibly easy after the Pursuer and the Ruin Sentinels.

  • The dragon rider was never a hard boss. Later on in the game...
you fight two at once, and it's still an incredibly easy fight.
If you know what you're doing anyway.

  • Yeah, he's very similar to the old knights in that he hits hard, but it's incredibly easy to avoid being hit.

  • Dang you beat the ruin sentinels before him? How'd that happen?

It took me a while to find the lever in the tunnel that leads to Heide's Tower of Flame

  • I haven't played it yet, but my friends bought it for me as a graduation present and we're planning on having a week long Dark Souls II play-fest. "It's gonna be biblical"

  • If you have patience, bravery, and mental toughness, it will be great. If not, stick with it and you'll develop those soon enough. It's a fantastic game, but also heart-wrenching at times.

  • I've played the first game. How does it compare?

Oh, then you know what to expect. I guess that I was preaching to the choir. The online play isn't as good, but the combats more fun and this one might even be a bit tougher.

  • I agree. After many deaths, my sorcerer, Tim the Enchanter, is finally becoming stronk.

  • In the first game I decided to go Dex/Faith. It was interesting, that's for sure. Strong? Maybe not so much.
