You can't use the touchpad during combat. Xbox has dedicated servers. Xbox has Peggle, Rayman legends, spartan assault, plants vs zombies and much more

Killzone has that drone which is controlled by the touchpad. Something like that could never by in Halo because the controller doesn't have enough buttons for it.
