BTW, which part of my OP is the audio card? Lol, sorry, I'm really not sure what I'm doing.
-
Under the Sound category. If that comes pre installed within the Motherboard then leave it.

Okay, another quick question (sorry, I need help) I think this is GPU, but IDK. What's better: AMD Radeon R9 270 2GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card (Major Brand Powered by AMD) or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 2GB GDDR5 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card [+186] (Major Brand Powered by NVIDIA)

Edited by Space Beaver: 5/20/2014 12:35:03 AMI'd go with the Nvidia because your have an intel processor and they tend to match better. Usually you want to stay intel/nvidia or AMD/AMD in terms of CPU/GPU.

That's great, thanks. Now, if this was your setup, what would you change about it (if money wasn't an issue. Just humor me, please.) CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-4820K Quad-Core 3.70 GHz 10MB Intel Smart Cache LGA2011 (All Venom OC Certified) HDD: 2TB (2TBx1) SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 64MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive) MEMORY: 16GB (4GBx4) DDR3/1866MHz Quad Channel Memory (Corsair Vengeance) MOTHERBOARD: GIGABYTE X79-UP4 ATX w/ Ultra Durable 5, GblAN, 4 GEn3 PCIe x16, 2 PCIe x1, 1 PCI SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 2GB GDDR5 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card [+186] (Major Brand Powered by NVIDIA)

Edited by Space Beaver: 5/20/2014 12:58:32 AMWhat is the case like and how many fans do you have and does the case allow proper air flow? Personally I'd add a water cooler, but I wouldn't if I were you(due to lack of experience). Everything else looks good except for a lack of a power supply.

The case ^^ Maximum 120MM Case Cooling Fans 600 Watts - Standard 80 Plus Certified Power Supply - SLI/CrossFireX Ready

It all sounds good. Like other said i7 is a little overkill for gaming and the money saved from going down to the i5 will get you a better GPU. Also you can buy the parts individually and have a local computer store assemble it for you. That way you aren't backed into a corner when it comes to parts.
-
Na, I figure I might as well go for the overkill. It's not like I could buy a better GPU anyways, it goes from 250$ to $1040, and even if I bought the i5 (which I can't), I doubt it's worth that much. But thanks anyway, man. You've been great.

Are you an audio engineer/producer?
-
-
Not worth the extra $. If you have quality speakers it doesn't make a difference.
-
Will Astro A50's suffice?
-
Overkill...
-
I already own them. Answer the question?
-
I did. Those will more than suffice.
-
But other than the audio card, is everything else solid?
