Assuming you're doing gaming, you would only need an i5 processor. And most builds which use the socket 2011 are used for heavy editing and such. Furthermore, you do not need 16GB of RAM, unless again you are editing. 8GB is fine. And that GPU, it's kinda on the lower end of the scale compared to the rest of the parts. You can get something much more powerful.

Forgive me, I'm really inexperienced about that sort of thing. Let's say I get rid of the audio card. Could you edit my OP to something you think would work better? My goal is to be able to play next-gen games with max-settings.
