Take this food for thought Bungie and community. The amount of next-gen games running split screen are slim to none, the major titles being CoD: Ghosts and the Lego series. Now take a second and realize the market potential of another game with split screen capabilities. It would be in the best interest of Bungie to make their game friendly to local players, it's only logical. With that said, I don't believe Bungie has overlooked this notion, in fact, I'm sure it's one of the biggest secrets they're keeping. Regardless, it's no easy task to integrate split screen into a massive game full of new ideas and secrets, and so there are no guarantees. Yet, I believe Bungie has included split screen into the game, but are simply waiting to reveal until E3 or later. It would be stupid not to include it with the chance of having their game sales skyrocket from it. Tell me what you think. Do you believe Bungie has or will add split screen to Destiny? Now, Destiny is the exact example of what will happen to future gaming. All online. Only single player. They will force us to buy multiple televisions, consoles, and disks in order to play with our friends and families. This is the future. They will begin to leave last-gen consoles behind, and nothing will be in their way. We may be gamers, but truly, we have no power on our own. We need to band together, and bring the fight to them! 5 RepliesEdited by PwnSage: 5/19/2014 8:52:46 PMI'm honestly curious about the people voting no...why? It's a feature that a great many people would get a lot of use out of, how does it effect you?

9 RepliesMy biggest concern for split screen is this: Destiny is an always-online title, meaning that to play you'll need a subscription to PS+ or XBL (unless you're on a PS3) so that would mean that both accounts being used would need to have online access and a paid subsrcription in order to play. Now, you could always use the guest features and play that way, but no progress would be saved once the console is off which, in a game that's all about progress.. Well.. In summary, unless you and you're sibling, friend, or family member pay for their profile, you'll have to play singularly. Now, for people who have online profiles already, it would be as simple as a profile transfer and log-in. But for those who are only children and only have access to one profile would have to find alternate means of playing when someone visited.

I highly doubt a feature such as splitscreen will make sales SKYROCKET. Also, they probably would have already announced it.

It wouldnt be stupid. Just like a pc version they propably dont have the time to put it in. I dont realy care though, I am fine either way. Its not like any of my forced acquaintances or family members will sudenly become interested in playing video games with me.
