downloadables such as arcade games are around 16GB, and big titles are sitting right aroung the 50GB mark.

they're poorly optimized, yeah, but they run on 3 different custom versions of separate OSes at the same time.

Around 40-50GB per game. Both consoles kinda screwed it by not having 1TB+ size HDD's. Those 500GB drives are going to fill up quick. Especially if you're a prolific game purchaser. But at least I can plug in my 2TB drive to my One is this part of the June update is true. We'll have to wait and see.

Games on the new consoles are pretty big. Mainly because of shitty optimisation.

I've got 1TB and a 500GB. My 500GB is full and my 1TB is nearing halfway. Wolfenstein alone will take up 40+. I highly doubt the consoles will do much better either.
