So, this explains why their was only 5-10 minutes of actual action in the movie. It's all going to be in the next Godzilla. More $$$ for them.

there was a ton of action in the film. there was only 5-10 minutes of monster battling, if that's what you mean.

Too much teasing, whenever they were about to fight, *cuts to black* it then raised my expectations up so that the 5 to 10 minutes that they did fight, it disappointed me.

that's fair.

which has always been the focus of a godzilla movie. besides the environmentalism...so this makes the movie a shit.
which has always been the focus of a godzilla movie.
A) nope. take godzilla vs. mothra 1992, where there were three battles [and one of them might not even count] and godzilla got relatively little screentime compared to the "nature's natural order" cosmic fairies. take godzilla 1954, where you have 16 allotted minutes of godzilla in a 90 minute movie. take final wars, where godzilla is largely nonexistent for the movie until just before the final act [and even then destroys every monster in his path within like 2 minutes each. hell he destroys hedorah in like five seconds.] several godzilla movies have the other monster and humanity as main focus and godzilla getting very little screentime in comparison. the difference between them and this movie is that the human plot homogenizes the monsters in general and instead makes the main conflict just about a guy trying to survive nature and get back to his family. it's still an admirable effort and a good take on the godzilla series imo, but it is indeed different. just not in the way that you're describing. B) why would you need to replicate the same approach for it to be good? it's not like the movie marketed itself on monster battling or monster appearances in general.
besides the environmentalism...
which is a huge part of this movie [it's not exactly environmentalism per se btw, but i get what you mean].
so this makes the movie a shit.
i disagree completely.
