I was homeschooled, and I loved it. The only catch is making sure the home educated child has friends. Going to a public school your odds of picking up a friend or two are pretty good, but when you are homeschooled your parents have to be active in your social life, unless you have a friend that lives really close to you. And much like private schools, home education usually results in higher grades :D
