Thats exactly what democracy and popular sovereignty is. If the majority rules, thats the majority of the community. If majority lost, there would be a lot more people not being in support of the outcome. You just debunked yourself.

Just because the majority agrees doesn't mean it's right or constitutional. The majority of Americans were for slavery and discrimination. Does that mean it should've been allowed to happen?
