I just think the suit needs just a bit more, padding. Bats is human after all and he comes up against many, many people with guns. Surely he's taken hits before. But a suit like that doesn't seem like it would protect very well at all. It could use just a very, very slight touch of body armour to it.
Supposedly Snyder has confirmed two suits for Batman; his regular crime fighting suit, and an "armored" tactical suit, which I'm assuming is for fighting against Superman.
I'm guessing this his just his regular ass suit, which would explain the scantiness.
EDIT: Scratch the confirmation bit, it's just a rumour.
I just now thought of something.
In Man of Steel, there were no pieces of Kryptonite to harm Supes. Instead it was the actual environment of his homeworld.
And Supes destroyed one of the terraforming machines out by the Indian ocean, and the other got sucked into the Phantom zone.
So, do you think, rather than use kryptonite in his fight against supes, Bats will use salvaged tech from the ruined terraforming machine in India? Something that used or created Kyrptonian atmosphere?
Bats has never taken on Supes before without ever having his backup kryptonite, and that wasn't around in MoS, so, assuming they're going to have some form of loose continuity with the movies so far, what will Bats use this time?
