I support the Syrian people in their effort to dispose of an evil dictator and in their fight against evil extremists. I find it to be a travesty and a shame that the international community has let this go on for so long. The conflict has significant security implications for the region, the US, and the world. These implications will become increasingly important the longer this conflict goes on. As someone who studies AQ, I find it to be troubling that they are growing stronger as a result of this war. As a strong supporter of the US and her interests, I find it imperative we act now.
