Only it's not EA, it's Gamespy. Gamespy refused to renew the contracts for those games out of the blue and now they're without multiplayer master servers. Of course since EA is involved it automatically makes them at fault right?

  • Actually I looked it up. Never knew this, but Gamespy has been defunct since February 21st of last year. So, it seems it's IGN's fault. Mostly.

  • Gamespy was actually bought out by another company. The new company that owns them had control of the servers. For all intents and purposes they're still "gamespy", but under a different name. And "gamespy" refused to renew the contracts for a bunch of multiplayer games, 50 of which belong to EA.
