How big might be the download file for the beta?
I was just wondering how big the download file for the beta might be. 50GB? 100GB? Looking at the shear scale of the Destiny, i would imagine a huge download. Any one got an idea of how big the download file is?

Te beta will probably NOT include everything, I say 10-20 gigs.

Think about the size of Reach. In its entirety to install it was only like 7gb. Destiny each major area is going to be the size of Reach more or less. They will probably let us beta in one area and various maps in multiplayer. I see anywhere from 10-30gb for download. Full game (without any updates) Would be on several discs for each system. So it would be around 50gb for the actual game in the beginning, before they add more content.

2 RepliesI would hazard a guess at about 15 - 20 gb based on the size of Planetside 2, although Destiny does look like its going to encompass a far larger scale of map, we are unlikely to see all of it during beta.
