the difference is that fish can be seen, tasted, touched, smelled, and heard. god can be none of those things. if god was real, there would be no way to prove his existence since there's no way to test or observe him.

There's no way to disprove him, and people get uncomfortable with the fact that people have different beliefs than their set of non-beliefs. THAT is how it effects other people. want to pray in your own house? fine. want to pray at school? go for it. want to creationism in public schools? nope. sorry.

Creationism is pretty much only forced in a few southern states, and I don't think things like that are appropriate. Us religious on the forums aren't going to agree with forcing religion, so taking it out on us isn't the right course of action. Write your local congressman rather than at us.
