Bot Invasion Imminent. Prepare Defences
Has anyone else noticed this supposed 'bot' known as [i]bot7[/i] on these forums?
I don't like these bots. They have posted comments on my threads that are of no relevance to the topic.
For [i]bot7[/i] these are usually in the form of what seems to me to be random Destiny Wiki links.
I have no idea if [i]bot7[/i] is the only one, or if there are bots 1-6 on different parts of the forums.
My opinion on bots depends on how they are implemented. Some are great, while others, like the ones that have recently popped up here, are less than useful.

Its aim is to try to respond to a topic with the most relevant information, but it is nowhere near what I would consider "finished" yet, which is why it's a little screwy right now. It doesn't post in every topic, only the ones it can find [i]something[/i] for on [url]http://destiny.wikia.com[/url], and even then, it will only ever post once in a single topic. It also doesn't bump topics either. If it annoys you, don't hesitate to mute it by clicking its username and hitting mute. I'll be disabling it soon, though.
