It's good. If you end up really getting into it, click here. It's a Let's Play, yes, but it's EpicNameBro. He's one of the biggest names in the Dark/Demons Souls community. His playthrough isn't about funniness or anything- it's about the game itself. He goes into detail on every aspect of the lore as he plays, showing things that you probably never even thought of but that give big insight into the story. In fact, he was even the one that wrote the strategy guide for Dark Souls 2 because of all his lore knowledge.
I'm on episode 18 of this series right now myself, and I can't wait to get into his Dark Souls 2 one since that's the fresh one.

is it normal to
die from a giant axe wielding lizard boss thing
after going through a warp tunnel?
-
You mean one of the fog gates, or traveling form the Nexus? Generally (though I can't think of any exceptions), when you go to an archstone from the Nexus you're in a safe spot until you move. As for Fog Gates, they don't magically make the enemies behind you disappear, so if you ran past them you may die, indeed.

no i mean i spawn in a castle thingy(demon's souls), went through jumped down, went to the magic rock, warped into a new castle fog gated into an axe swung by giant lizard thing, now i'm a dead guy or something?

I have no idea what you're talking about, sorry.

demons souls? one of the fog gates warps directly into a boss battle as a level one and i got one hitted.

so yea, the point was is it normal for that to happen like is it story related? because it's the first time i've heard of this nexus.
